Apologies!!!

Ok, so big apologies from me. So much has been going on in the past few months that I haven't had the chance to do much including write witty post - so don't expect much from this one either!!!

Samantha has changed so much it is just frightening! She is now a little girl (which ok, she always was of course!!) but is now a toddler no longer a baby.

She impatiently (is there any other way for her??) starting walking on the 17th of March. Exactly 2 months and 15 days after she first crawled. She took off like she had been doing it for ever at a grand old age of 10.5 months! Clever wee thing.
The crazy thing is that she is still so tiny. Her 12 month Plunket visit puts her at a huge 69cm tall and 8.88kgs! Officially the size of a 6 month old!
Fine with me because she gets to stay my little girl - even if her temper is 10 times her size!

Soooooooo, swimming is still going on, as is jumping beans! Samantha has been to so many parties in the past couple of months I swear could have bought shares in a toy factory - but that is ok because the amount she got for her birthday was truly ridiculous as well!

I 'WILL' post a new photo of her when I get the chance, but until then......

well sadly.......

Dishes are in the sink calling my name.

(The only other thing I want to know is where the lid she is holding in this picture as gone. To know the answer to that I'm afraid you will have to ask her.... and trust me, i have tried! She isn't speaking!!!

CRAWLER....Arghhhh!

Beware everybody! We now have a crawler to contend with!

On the 2nd January she got up on all fours and off she went! All that time of doing nothing and she just does it! Like she has been doing it forever.
I swear this child is just like that with everything. It is all or nothing!

And now, when the art of crawling isn't even properly mastered she has decided it is time to start pulling herself up on the furniture to stand!

We have other big changes that have happened. She has officially gone from being my wee booby baby to a formula girl. After just one taste Mum was just no longer good enough :(
But so long as she is happy that is what counts - and she certainly is that!

So today...

We have been swimming! Yay for swimming lessons starting up again! And the good news is that my little turtle hasn't forgotten a thing. Lots of unders and dolphin dives today! We have also finally managed to secure a place in the coveted Friday class! Finally!

And it's official. Gen makes one of the best Hot Chocolates I have ever tasted! Well done Gen :)

Well I suppose that is enough sitting around for one day. Off to do all those Mummy tasks that never end....
